These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of SheetDo for using sheetdo.com. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
SheetDo lets you practice spreadsheet formulas, read guides and cheatsheets, and use small calculators in the browser. Access is free. We may add, change, or remove features. If a feature ever costs money, that page will say so before you pay. Nothing on the site is a paid product today.
No account
You do not need an account. Formulas you type are graded in your browser. We are not able to restore practice progress, because it never leaves your device.
Learning, not advice
Exercises, explanations, and tools — including the CAGR calculator — are for learning. They are not financial, tax, legal, accounting, or employment advice. Check any result that matters in your own spreadsheet before you rely on it.
Accuracy
We try to keep answers and explanations correct. The site is still provided as-is. Grading can reject an unusual formula that would work in your copy of Excel or Google Sheets, and a guide can lag behind a product update. The contact page is the place to tell us when something is wrong.
Your formulas
You keep the formulas you type. We do not claim ownership of them. Do not put someone else's confidential data into an exercise if you are not allowed to.
Our content
The exercises, writing, and site design are SheetDo's, except where a page says otherwise. You may use the site for your own learning and for teaching a class. Please do not copy the exercise library, republish the pages, or scrape the site in bulk.
Trademarks
SheetDo is not affiliated with Microsoft or Google. Excel and Microsoft 365 are trademarks of Microsoft. Google Sheets is a trademark of Google. Names of textbooks on the books page belong to their authors and publishers.
Other websites
The free Excel books page links to openly licensed textbooks on other sites. We do not host those files and are not responsible for those sites, their availability, or their licenses.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the site, attempt to break it, or use it in a way that violates the law. If you find a security problem, email [email protected] instead of probing further.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, SheetDo is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or decisions you make from a formula, tool, or exercise. Some places do not allow certain limits on liability; where that is the case, those rules still apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page and changing the date at the top. If you keep using the site after that, you are accepting the updated terms.
