About

SheetDo is a free practice site for spreadsheet formulas. You learn by typing a real formula into a sheet in the browser and getting an instant pass or fail — closer to a drill than to a tutorial video.

What you can do here

  • Practice — short challenges with a live sheet and instant grading, from everyday arithmetic to lookup and logic formulas.
  • Formula guides — plain-language pages for functions such as XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, IF, and IFERROR, each tied to a practice problem.
  • Cheatsheets — formulas and keyboard shortcuts you can scan or print.
  • Tools — small utilities for one job: a CAGR calculator, freeze panes, merge cells, and highlight duplicates.
  • Blog — notes on how the site is built and how to approach spreadsheet problems.
  • Free Excel books — a directory of openly licensed textbooks. We link to the publisher or library; we do not host the files.

How it works

Nothing to install, and no account to create. Grading runs in your browser. The record of which exercises you have passed stays on that device, in the browser's local storage, until you clear site data.

The site is published in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. The language menu in the header switches the same page.
